Casting Technology
PT Casting
Some shrinkage voids are formed under the casting scar in the annealing process . The blocks(PT)having such voids ,while installed and used in glass furnaces in a proper manner ,present no serious in furnace performance and life.
QX Casting
A special casting technique which causes shrinkage voids to be concentrated toward one end of the blocks , allowing the other end to become compact for maximum use.
ZWS Casting
ZWS is called Reinforced Casting , which reserves only few small voids under the casting scar and is widely used for the sidewall blocks since it has compact structure.
WS Casting
WS Casting is performed with a large header in which most the voids are concentrated . The header is subsequently cut off after cooling . The resultant block is compact and substantially viod-free.
